What does the ministry do?

Since Destiny Care Ministries was founded in 2007, Pastor Moses Okumu has been working hard trying to meet the needs of the community in Kasese, Uganda. So far they have started a successful and growing church. The church hosts many events and goes on outreaches throughout Uganda. They also have opened the Destiny Preparatory School that caters towards orphans in the community. Orphans are able to come and get a sponsored education, are fed breakfast and lunch, and are either housed at the school or with local families. The school also offers a one to one program, where for each child a family puts through school another child gets a free education. There are a total of 694 students at the Destiny School. Of these, 317 are orphans. There are 28 paid staff members and 6 volunteers as well.
