People of KPC
A church can be successful in helping further the Kingdom of God when it has members willing to sacrifice their time, money, and lives giving back. Featured below are just a handful of the many volunteers who sacrifice so much in order to serve God and His church in Kasese, Uganda at the Kasese Pentecostal Church.

Gorit, 37. One of the ushers at the church. In this photo she is cleaning the floors of the church in preparation for a Grace International conference. (she is also featured in the school gallery under the “teachers and volunteers” section)

Claire, 16, a member of the worship and praise team at KPC. She is always smiling and laughing. She is such an energetic dancer.

Joseph, 27.
“I work as a youth leader at church and in Kasese District. I do interpretation (translating for the speaker). I do preach in the church and outside the church. I do school ministry. I play some instruments like piano and guitar for the worship team. I do singing and praising. I lead the football (soccer) club at the church, I’m the one coaching them. I do not earn (money) from these things but I do it to serve God.
My dream is I want to become a great evangelist. I want to move the whole world by preaching the gospel and raising up ministers, like developing pastors and sending them to plant churches. I also in the future want to do some projects like a school with an orphanage home or caring for the widow. Helping the people that cannot help themselves. I believe God and I know all of it will come to pass. ”

Janet, 32, born and raised in Kasese.
At KPC she works as the chief usher. “It’s like I’m the senior pastor of the ushers. I am above them so it’s me to tell them what to do.” She also is the one who gets put in charge of looking after and helping the guests and visitors who come to KPC.
Janet has been running her own small business for some time now. She sells palm oil. In order to get the oil she travels three hours round trip to Congo each Friday. In the future she wants to start a different business. She says “If God blessed me with money I want to open a big shop.”
